Infant neurological speech therapy
A calm neurological speech consultation for infants when you want to discuss communication development, oral functions, or feeding-related difficulties.

We start with a history of the pregnancy, the birth and feeding. We take a calm look at oral reflexes and functions. We go through the findings and the next steps with the carer. We see you at two practices in Gdańsk: Ujeścisko and Morena.
Scope of an infant consultation
The consultation helps organize questions about communication, oral functions, and feeding.
Infant consultation
We talk through observations from home: how the infant feeds, how it reacts to voices and sounds around it, and how it tries to communicate through early gestures and sounds. We ask about feeding, sleep, and what worries the caregiver most. The consultation is not a medical diagnosis - if symptoms need urgent review, we refer to a paediatrician or neonatologist.
Functional observation
We observe how the infant sucks, swallows, and breathes during feeding, and how it responds to voices and sounds nearby. We check the start of communication: babbling, eye contact, mirroring facial expressions, and first gestures toward a caregiver. If breathing signs during feeding raise concern during the observation, we refer first to an ENT specialist or paediatrician.
Caregiver conversation
After the observation, we discuss what we noticed with the caregiver and explain which behaviours sit within the wide range of typical development and which are worth watching further. Together we decide whether home exercises, a follow-up visit, or a referral would help. This talk does not replace a medical diagnosis - for health concerns, we point caregivers to a paediatrician or lactation support.
Ujeścisko and Morena
We run infant consultations at both StacjaMowa locations in Gdańsk, at a time that suits the caregiver. On site, the caregiver describes daily observations while the therapist watches feeding or play and the infant's first attempts at communication. The consultation is a screening visit - for breathing difficulties during feeding, we contact a paediatrician first.
